Established in 1949, BIT Sindri is among India’s oldest and most esteemed technical institutions, guided by the motto “नियति कर्तुं कर्म तत्” – Actions are superior to inactions. The institute has consistently nurtured technological talent and advanced research aligned with global standards, significantly contributing to the nation’s growth and innovation.
The Model Club, founded in 1976, is BIT Sindri’s sole technical club initiated by the administration. It focuses on enhancing technical skills, fostering innovation, and promoting holistic development among students.
SANDHAAN, BIT Sindri’s annual techno-management festival, celebrates innovation and technical excellence. For over a decade, it has provided a platform for students to refine their skills, showcase talents, and engage in impactful collaborations. The festival features technical competitions, entrepreneurial challenges, management workshops, expert lectures, and social outreach initiatives addressing global challenges. With participation from over 30 colleges and 100 schools and a footfall of 8,000+, SANDHAAN fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation. It inspires students to push boundaries and prepares them to become leaders in science and technology.
